Safety first

Know the rules before you splash.

Arrive 60 minutes before your booking, complete your waiver before arrival, check in for your bracelet, get fitted for your supplied PFD/lifejacket, and attend the safety speech before entering the park.

Guests must arrive 60 minutes before their booking to allow enough time to reach the park, check in, receive bracelets, get fitted for lifejackets/PFDs, and attend the safety speech.

Check-in procedures

Arrive early and follow these steps.

Guests must arrive 60 minutes before their booking to ensure adequate time to reach the park and complete check-in.

Step 1

Ensure guests and waivers are filled out before proceeding to the check-in hut. If waivers are not complete, visit the website or scan the QR code to complete them.

Step 2

Visit the check-in hut to check in and receive bracelets.

Step 3

Visit the lifejacket area for your supplied lifejacket/PFD. Bracelet required.

Step 4

Be at the safety speech section 10 minutes before session start time.

Park rules

Any violation of these rules may result in removal from the park without refund.

  1. Guests must arrive 60 minutes before their booking to ensure adequate time to reach the park.
  2. Spectators are welcome, but must adhere to park regulations at all times.
  3. Lifejackets/PFDs are mandatory and supplied by the park.
  4. Picnic tables, concessions, and portable toilet facilities will be available at the beach area.
  5. Guests must adhere to the instructions of lifeguards at all times.
  6. Guests agree to abide by any federal, provincial, or municipal health guidelines should they be implemented.
  7. No watches, jewelry, keys, and/or any other sharp objects.
  8. Glasses and/or goggles cannot be worn on the park and must be removed.
  9. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on the park.
  10. Children ages 5–8 must be accompanied and within arm's length of a parent or guardian at all times.
  11. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted on the park.
  12. Water shoes are not permitted on the park. Water socks may be available for purchase if desired.
  13. Swimming under any of the inflatables is not permitted at any time.
  14. Always check that there are no people or objects in the water before jumping into the water.
  15. Move out of landing areas immediately to avoid getting hurt.
  16. Horseplay, pushing, and shoving on the park are not permitted.
  17. The park is only for use when staff are on duty.
  18. No flipping when jumping off towers. Never dive head first into the water; enter the water feet first.
  19. If sliding with a friend, do not hold hands. Slide separately.
  20. Whistles are only to be used when help is needed.

Violence & harassment

Violence and harassment, in both physical and verbal form, will not be tolerated. This will result in immediate removal from the park without refund.

Refunds & missed bookings policy

  • All reservations are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once booked.
  • Repeated violation of the rules will result in removal from the park, and a refund will not be provided.
  • Should inclement weather require the park to close suddenly, best efforts will be made to reschedule the individual to a later session.
  • Changes requested with a minimum of 48 hours notice to an existing booking will be subject to a $5.00 change surcharge per booking, per change.
  • Changes to bookings without 48 hours notice are not permitted and will not be considered.

PFDs supplied

Lifejackets/PFDs are mandatory and supplied by the park. Guests do not need to bring their own.

Age rules

Children under 5 are not permitted on the park. Children ages 5–8 must be accompanied and within arm's length of a parent or guardian at all times. Sherkston is ages 6+.

Weather & conditions

Thunder, lightning, high winds, unsafe water conditions, or other safety concerns may delay or close sessions. Staff decisions are made for guest safety.
